With DSG we were able to align sales and marketing together, and the most significant business outcome was an increase and predictability with sales and revenue we increased revenue thirty-five percent year-over-year.
DSG has enabled our go-to-market strategy by bringing three very important pieces to bear in terms of developing the overall process. One is the people, you know, people that have a lot of expertise that have helped companies similar like ours that very quickly understood where we were at in terms of people and process and maturity of the organization. Second thing that was critical was the process they bring; it's a very efficient process. And most importantly in a big differentiator I believe for DSG is the technology, the vPlaybook. The acceptance of the vPlaybook, the ease with which it can be maintained, the engagement that it is created between DSG and our team and our team and our partners our customers is extraordinary in terms of always keeping the information updated.
This program is giving us the tools to have a more consistent approach when it comes forecasting an opportunity management and all of that, and the second thing is when we look at our business with this methodology with whiteboarding and everything, we have an opportunity to go in high and early with our customers. So, go in at a different level on the sales cycle and really get more quality conversations with the with the C-level people that we need to.
This program has had a huge impact for us. We were able to really increase our overall sales effectiveness. If you look at the framework for sales coaching, sales development, sales leadership that this program has put in place it gives us a road map for really scaling the business and having true repeatability in the business that helps us achieve our long-term goals and take the next level as a company.
